The Greek-American Museum of Washington was thrilled to exhibit as a guest of the event, featuring an exhibit on textiles with our museum volunteers and students from the University of Washington classics department.
An Afternoon of Wine, Music, & History
Event attendees were able to enjoy an appetizing variety of sips by Yiannis Food & Wine and The Shop Agora and small bites from Kostas Opa while enjoying local music by REBETIKA COMPANIA with Nick Maroussis. Digital supporter was provided by Chris Saites and AHEPA and Kate Hagan of Ripleyk8 Digital.

From Seas to Sound: Patterns of Greek Migration in the 20th Century and Beyond
Greeks in Washington present an interactive exhibit tracing patterns of migration from Greece to Washington State in the 20th and 21st centuries. Highlighting myriad areas, the Museum will display maps and artifacts that exemplify not just the regions from which emigrants came, but the unique culture they brought with them and continue to pass on today. The exhibit will also highlight how patterns of migration have changed and continue to change.

Bite of Greece 2019
On May 31-June 2 Greeks in Washington presented an exhibit called “From Sea to Sound” at BITE OF GREECE, the annual food festival at Seattle’s Church of the Assumption.
