Database Proposal

This project will provide access to the growing number of items in the Museum Archive by digitizing and linking these items to the Greeks In Washington virtual museum.  Visitors may then search the Archive by name, document item, photographs, etc.  A proposal has been submitted to the University of Washington Library and Information Science program to engage a graduate student for this project.  More information to follow.

Artifacts, photos and memorabilia from the exhibit A Place at the Table at MOHAI earlier this year are now part of the Museum Archive.  The items are being considered for display at other locations.  A PowerPoint summary of the exhibit is being prepared and will appear soon at Greeks in Washington   In early 2016, many of the photos and text panels will be on display at SPIN’S BARBER SHOP in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood.
